Bilateral Relations with Accredited Countries
Bangladesh-Mongolia Bilateral Relations
Mongolia was one of the first among the East Asian countries which recognized the independent Bangladesh. The diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in 1972. Since then, the two countries have been enjoying friendly and warm bilateral relationship.
Bangladesh and Mongolia cooperate with each other in the UN and other international organizations. The two countries support each other’s candidature during elections to various international organizations.
Bangladesh-DPRK Bilateral Relations
The diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea were established in 1973. Since the establishment of the diplomatic relations, the two countries have been enjoying friendly relations that are based on the principle of mutual respect for each other’s sovereignty and the understanding of each other’s interest.
